ABOUT US
We are Thomas, karen, Matthew, and Sophia Beckworth. We started Merry Hearts 15 years ago to help put a smile on the hearts of orphans and the impoverished in Guatemala. Karen and I adopted our daughter Sophia from Guatemala in 2007 and in 2008 Guatemala was closed to adoptions. With a desire to help, we sought out several orphanages and in the end believed the orphanage, God Bless the Children was the one to adopt. Little did we know that this would lead Merry Hearts to where it is today.

Merry Hearts board members: Roy Anderson, Family and Marriage Counselor from Seattle WA; Ben Payne Business owner from San Diego, CA and Heath Cook Pastor from Willis Texas. They have all traveled multiple times to Guatemala with Thomas.
